WHY CHOOSE US
as your veterinarian

You may notice the Independent Veterinary Practitioners Association (IVPA) logo and #VetLocal around our hospital, website and social media sites.
The IVPA was formed to support local veterinarians in their practices so they can run their practice with the values & goals they hold dear while providing the best care to pets and owners.
We are an independent veterinary practice and want you to know more about why we believe it is important to distinguish ourselves as an independent vet. LEARN MORE ABOUT THE IVPA

What Makes Us Unique
~We run a comfortable, clean and organized hospital.
We utilize the latest technologies to help us perform our tasks thoroughly and to a higher standard. Most importantly, it comes down to our people and what we believe in.
~We believe in our mission statement.
Build Trust - Promote Health - Help Above All Else

~ We believe the small things matter.
~ We believe our clients know their pets. We listen to what they tell us because so often they provide clues as to what the problem might be. During difficult times, some owners just need to be able to talk things through.

~We believe in treating our patients with kindness and sympathy.
They are often afraid, so easing that fear and stress at every opportunity is critically important.
We accomplish this in a detailed and intricate manner, from setting up a dedicated cat room with warm blankets and hiding spots to using calming pheromones and relaxing music in every room. We even use distracting treats whenever possible.
Most of all, we try to move slowly and calmly to allow our patients to adjust and relax. Sometimes they do better while outside, sometimes they are better without owners, and sometimes they are more comfortable with their owners by their side.
We accommodate each pet wherever we can to help them.

~ We believe the client deserves to understand what is happening to their pet. We are here to inform and help owners make the best decisions for their family. Our efforts don’t stop when you leave our hospital. We will continue to communicate with you and make sure you have all the help we can give both you and your pet.
